The Power of Tapping
Tapping has been around for many years now and has its roots in acupuncture. EFT helps us heal on every level, and much more quickly than conventional talking therapies. Tapping also allows healing without talking if there is so much trauma that talking feels too intense in that moment.
We can use tapping on its own, or incorporate it into counselling and coaching - which is what I very often do. I find that as powerful as tapping is, many people who come to see me also want to talk some things through. They need their story to be heard, empathically witnessed by someone who is there for them and can help them work through their problems.
EFT will help you to explore and transform your emotional experience. Regardless of whatever challenging situations you may have experienced, like trauma, severe stress, anxiety, depression, tapping can help you gently dissolve the negative emotions you are feeling; the ones that will be running, and potentially ruining your life. It is a gentle process that will also help you to re-evaluate the experience so that you are free to move forward in your life.
What is tapping?
Tapping is a mind/body technique that can be done with a practitioner - for more in-depth issues, or as a method of self help. We gently tap on the ends of the meridians whilst talking about, or visualising the problem. This process releases unpleasant and uncomfortable feelings allowing us to transform our negative thoughts to positive and uplifting thoughts and beliefs.
Tapping has been subjected to many scientific trials, all have proven the efficacy of the treatment. fMRI scans show how the brain positively responds to the treatment, allowing us to feel better as a result.

Read what Stuart has to say about his tapping experience:-
"When at an online business event I ended up discussing the impact of various life events with Helen who offered to introduce me to "tapping".
She explained how it can help change your mindstate and improve your mental wellbeing. Over the years I have tried all manner of wellbeing practitioners for different issues so I am quite open minded when it comes to alternative therapies. However, I was a little skeptical about how simply doing some "tapping" can have any effect whatsoever. But I figured "what harm could some tapping do?" and so I gave it a go.
If you have never experienced tapping then I would urge you to give Helen the chance to introduce you to it. After my first session I felt that nothing had changed, the issues I was experiencing were still troubling me. However, you don't take one pill from the doctor's prescription and expect to be cured, so I had a second session. A few days after this I realised the troubling thoughts were less troubling. Instead of being 4K full Hi Def surround sound memories they were more like black and white photos. The thoughts were much less troubling, far less anxiety producing and less frequent too.
I booked a third session and approached it with less skepticism as it had definitely given me a change in my thought patterns. Thought patterns I had lived with for many years, were now causing less mental anxiety.
During our third Zoom session I had to take a phone call, which ended up triggering me. Helen saw exactly the change that stress in my life produces and worked on this with me "live" as it were. She took what would have given me hours, if not days of recurring angry thoughts and reduced the stress completely inside 5 minutes.
If you have not thought about tapping or haven't heard of it give it a try and call Helen. Her manner puts you at ease and allows you to feel less self conscious about tapping your face, chest and armpit. Sounds odd, yep it is a bit odd, but the results I have experienced first hand speak for themselves. Odd or not, the results are worth the slightly self-conscious moment when you first start. The results are worth any minor embarrassment, and I am a complete convert to this technique having experienced the benefits of it first-hand.
If you are anxious, stressed and have recurring troubling thoughts and behaviors give Helen a call and give tapping a try."
