How do you choose a therapist? It's a big decision, there's so many to choose from and it's such a big decision we don't want to get it wrong. the key is knowing what you need. How do we do that?
By asking the right questions
What type of therapy - and will that type of therapy suit me? What type of therapist do you need? Where do you want your therapy? What will therapy look like?
These are just some of the questions you may have. So where do you start?
How do I know what questions to ask?
In no particular order:-
What is important to you? A male or female therapist. A clinical setting. What the Doctor ordered or something that doesn't fit in the conventional norm. Straight down the line counselling or a combination of different modalities.
