Choose Hope. Life can be difficult at times. It can be so difficult we really can't see a way forward. It might be at that point that it feels easier to give up, whatever giving up means to you in that moment.
I have felt like giving up many times throughout my life. I've felt like giving up in many different way, as every situation is different. I have felt anxiety, a sense of depression, lost, confused, worthless, useless and utterly hopeless. And yet I have always found a way through. I have helped many who have felt like giving up.
There is no one and only magical 'way through'. We decide to take a step forward in some. It may be a baby step, but it is a step nevertheless. Then we take another. My first few steps will look different to yours, as it should, we are different individuals. However, there are also steps that are proven to help that we can all take - if we choose to.
You have a choice at any given moment. What will you choose? Will you choose to believe what someone else says to you, or will you choose to make up your own mind and attempt something new?
Sometimes not doing anything is a good choice. 'Trying to do' is not always in our best interests. We might need rest. we might need to come up with a realistic plan, we might need to get more information, we might just need to wait for the right moment. Sometimes we need to let go of something before we can successfully move forward.
Anything is possible. There is a world of possibilities out there - a universe of possibilities. No one person can ever hope to have tried everything, so let go of telling yourself that you've tried everything!
How and what you think can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Choose them wisely.
Be kind. Kindness is an action, it is a choice. Be kind to yourself first as it is then easier to be kind to others.
